YAMOUSSOUKRO / VISIT TO THE KORODOUGOU COMMUNITY AT NANAN BOIGNY N’DRI III

It was with honor and enthusiasm that Nanan Boigny N'Dri III, Chief of the Akouè, accompanied by several traditional chiefs, received a visit from the Korodougou community at his home on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. The purpose of this meeting was to sincerely thank Nanan Boigny N'Dri III for his availability and constant support to the community. Present at this ceremony were traditional chiefs, religious leaders, representatives of the District, as well as numerous men and women
The ceremony began with an opening prayer delivered by the central imam of Korodougou, Mr. Kamagaté Chaka. Afterward, Mr. Bilal, spokesperson for the Chief of Korodougou, introduced the various members of the delegation. The secretary of the traditional chiefs, Baba Mauris, also introduced the customary authorities present.
On behalf of the Korodougou community, Mr. Karim Fofana, a member of the KORODOUGOU community, spoke to express his deep gratitude to Nanan Boigny N'Dri III and his delegation. He emphasized his community's commitment to the values ​​of peace and social cohesion dear to the nation's founding father, Félix Houphouët-Boigny, and reaffirmed his community's readiness to support the Chief of the Akouè in this noble mission.
In response, Nanan Djedjehoué II, Chief of the village of Akpessèkro, addressed the Korodougou community on behalf of Nanan Boigny N'Dri III. He expressed his gratitude and recalled that the ties uniting the Akouè and the Korodougou community are based on brotherhood and solidarity. To mark this union, they were presented with a sum of 1,000,000 CFA francs.
This gesture aroused deep emotion and was warmly welcomed by all participants.
