YAMOUSSOUKRO: MEMBERS WITH THE MINISTER AND GOVERNOR OF COLAS AFRIQUE

On Tuesday, August 4, 2026, the Minister and Governor of the Yamoussoukro Autonomous District, Dr. Augustin Thiam, accompanied by the Directors of the District Office, received a delegation from COLAS AFRIQUE at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny Foundation.
The purpose of this meeting was to pay courtesy to the Minister and Governor, while also discussing several development projects that the company plans to implement in the Yamoussoukro Autonomous District.
At the start of the meeting, the Director General of Administration, Mr. Anicet Désiré Kouassi, welcomed the delegation, offered his greetings, and inquired about their well-being. Mr. Philippe Cazal, Managing Director of COLAS AFRIQUE, accompanied by his colleague, then addressed the delegation, explaining the reasons for the visit. He then presented, in five phases, the development projects his company intends to implement in Yamoussoukro. In turn, Mr. Anicet Désiré KOUASSI provided an update on completed projects and those still to be executed, in order to better guide the discussions.
Speaking in turn, the Minister and Governor, Dr. Augustin THIAM, thanked the COLAS AFRIQUE delegation for their initiative and the interest shown in the development of Yamoussoukro. He indicated, however, that depending on the nature of the projects under consideration, it would also be advisable to engage in discussions with the relevant technical ministries to ensure better coordination and the successful implementation of the initiatives.
