OFFICIAL VISIT OF THE WORLD BANK

This Wednesday, June 26, 2024, a strong delegation from the World Bank went to Yamoussoukro as part of the financing of its projects in partnership with the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro. 

The delegation went to the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro to present its greetings to the Minister, Governor Doctor Augustin THIAM. 

The Minister being prevented, the delegation was received by the 1st Vice-Governor Mrs. Mariam Bamba, the Acting Chief of Staff, Mr. Léopold ANON and the Deputy Secretary General of the Council, Mr. Léandre KOFFI. 

For civilities, the delegation was made up of Mr. Aly COULIBALY head of the PEJEDEC Project of the World Bank, Mr. DIGBE Franck BCP-Employment Monitoring-Evaluation specialist and Mrs. AKA Léopoldine BCP-Employment Monitoring-Evaluation Assistance. 

After apologizing for the delay, the delegation congratulated the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro for the results which are satisfactory thanks to the assessment which was made in relation to the PEJEDEC 2 projects. It can only encourage phase 3 of the projects and if possible increase the budgetary portfolio as proposed by Mr. Léandre KOFFI, in the discussions, given the enthusiasm that these projects are generating among young people and women. 

Madam 1st Vice-Governor did not fail to congratulate Mr. Jean-Pierre Assoumou, Coordinator of the District Projects Unit for the work and a job well done. 

After the discussions, the delegation from the World Bank joined the large group to continue the field visits.
