SIGNATURE OF MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT OF YAMOUSSOUKRO AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SOLUTIONS PATNERS (ESPartners) OF THE KINGDOM OF THE NETHERLANDS

This Monday, February 24, 2025, the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro received a strong delegation from the Kingdom of the Netherlands, for the signing of a bilateral memorandum of understanding between the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro and Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners (ESPartners), at the Félix Houphouet Boigny Foundation for Peace Research. 
The Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro was represented by the 5th Vice-Governor, Augustin Félix KOUASSI, representing the Minister Governor, who was unable to attend, the Director General of Administration, Mr. Anicet KOUASSI, the Acting Chief of Staff, Mr. Raphaël KOUADIO, the Deputy Secretary of the Council Office, Mr. Léandre KOFFI, the Director of Human Resources, Mr. TIEMI, the Coordinator of the Project Unit and the initiator of this project, Mr. Jean-Pierre ASSOUMOU,...
On the side of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, their delegation was led by His Excellency Ambassador Jeroen KELDERHUIS with members of the Ministry of the Interior of their country and around ten Dutch companies.
After the civilities, the welcome address was delivered by the representative of the Minister Governor Doctor Augustin THIAM. Mr. Félix KOUASSI expressed all his joy, reminding the audience that this is the third time that the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro has signed a memorandum of understanding with firms from the Kingdom of the Netherlands:
- July 2, 2019 with BIOYAM, specialized in the production of organic fertilizers through the use of agricultural and household waste, 
- June 16, 2023 with HortiNord for the establishment of a horticultural training and incubation center 
- and this February 24, 2025 it is with the company Entrepreneurial Solutions Partners.
The operationalization of activities will be led by ORANGE CORNERS which is an initiative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, implemented by the company ESPatners. He translated on behalf of the President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, His Excellency Alassane OUATTARA and the Prime Minister, all his recognition as well as that of the Council to Dutch diplomacy.

After the welcome address from the 5th Vice-Governor, two beneficiaries of Dutch projects took the floor to talk about their experience. Miss YAO Maryse Bleydjah specialized in making pancakes with banana flour. She started her project thanks to a competition which she won with a sum of 1,500,000 F and Mr. Gislain KOUAKOU who transforms cassava (AGBAFÊ) and its derived products through a lasting collaboration with women and young people in rural areas.
Ambassador Jeroen, taking the floor, in turn thanked the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro for the warm welcome upon their arrival. 197 billion CFA francs will be made available to Côte d'Ivoire in the field of Infrastructure. The Dutch delegation has started a cooperation caravan in this direction, from San-Pedro, Korhogo, Vavoua and today in Yamoussoukro, he said.

Mr. OUATTARA Mohamed from the Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture made a presentation focusing on the assets of Yamoussoukro and the District, in terms of business opportunities. To close the session, the representative of the Minister Governor, Doctor Augustin THIAM, asked the Ambassador to convey to the highest authorities of his country the infinite gratitude of Côte d'Ivoire and its wish to see the collaboration that unites our two (02) States diversified and amplified.
