THE FUNERAL OF THE 3RD VICE-GOVERNOR MR. KOUAME KOUACOU EUGÈNE

At the IVOSEP in Assabou, Yamoussoukro, this Friday, July 4, 2025, the burial of our dearly missed Mr. KOUAME Kouacou Eugène, 3rd Vice-Governor of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, took place.
The Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro was strongly represented by all the members of the Council Office, the Directors, Deputy Directors, and members of the District Agents' Mutual Fund (MUADY), who formed a convoy in a minibus.
The burial took place in the presence of Minister Souleymane Diarrassouba, the prefectural staff, members of the RHDP (Republic of Haitian Peoples' Democratic Party).
After the prayer of the Christians of Celestial Christianity, a vibrant tribute was paid to him by the RHDP spokesperson for the occasion, Mr. Diaby Sekou. Speaking, he said: "We are gathered on this day of deep sadness to pay a final tribute to a man who, through his loyalty, discretion and constant commitment, left a lasting mark on our party, our district and our hearts. Mr. KOUAME Kouacou Eugène was not an ordinary man. He carried within him that silent nobility which distinguishes the great servants of the people.
For some, he was a committed political figure; for others, he was a brother, a friend, a confidant. But for all, he was a model of rectitude, simplicity, and selflessness. He belonged to that rare breed of men who believe deeply in brotherhood beyond origins, in solidarity beyond political allegiances, in unity in the service of Côte d'Ivoire. He was kind. He was generous. He knew how to give... without expecting anything," he said.
After this vibrant tribute, his body was transferred to his native village of Logbakro, where a prayer vigil will take place from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m., followed by a traditional vigil that will follow until the early hours. On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the n'siè (donations) ceremony will take place from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., followed by a religious ceremony from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and finally, the burial will take place at the village cemetery at 12:00 p.m.
Beyond the tears, we choose to keep the light he left behind alive, in every act of generosity performed in silence.
