ARDCI ON WORKING VISIT TO THE AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT OF YAMOUSSOUKRO

This Tuesday, February 11, 2025, the ARDCI (Assembly of Regions and Districts of Cote d'Ivoire) had a working session with agents of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro.
The ARDCI delegation was composed of Mrs. BAMBA Massandjéépse BAMBA Director of the Administration and Finance Department, Head of Delegation, Mr. TONGA Mathurin, Director of the Planning and Territorial Development Department, Mr. SYLLA Moustapha, Head of Communication and Information System and Mr. DIABATE MAKAMA driver.
On the District side, Mr. Félix KOUASSI 5th Vice-Governor represented the Minister Governor, Doctor Augustin THIAM, Mr. Director General of Administration Mr. Anicet KOUASSI as well as all the Directors and Deputy Directors, all were present.
The agenda was as follows: “Information meeting, exchanges and collection of priority themes for Capacity Building of Autonomous Districts, members of the ARDCI”.  
Mr. Félix KOUASSI, 5th Vice-Governor, representing the Minister Governor, after welcoming the said delegation, opened the working session.
Addressing the agenda, Mrs. BAMBA Massandjéépse BAMBA specified that for this tour, five (05) localities have already received them. The Districts of Abidjan, Lagoons, Bas-sassandra, Yamoussoukro and tomorrow Wednesday January 12, 2025, it will be the turn of the Lakes District.
A slide presentation was made by Mr. TONGA Mathurin. On the history, missions and objectives of the ARDCI. ARDCI was created on July 31, 2013 in Ivory Coast. It brings together, within it, 31 regions and 5 Districts and its main mission is to support its local authorities in achieving the development objectives set in decentralization.

For the current mission, it is a question of local authorities prioritizing themes in order to reinforce the need for agents in training. 

After several discussions, Mr. Anicet KOUASSI, Director General of Administration, requested a consultation with all his collaborators in order to submit the prioritized list of training needs for agents of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, no later than tomorrow, Wednesday February 12, 2025, to the ARDCI. 
Finally, the representative of the Minister Governor, Mr. Félix KOUASSI closed the work session, without forgetting to thank the members of the ARDCI for this noble mission. He then gave the ARDCI delegation presents from Doctor Augustin THIAM in memory of their visit to the District and Mrs. BAMBA Massandjé did the same on behalf of the President of the ARDCI, Doctor Eugène Aka AOUELE.
