DONATIONS OF FOOD FROM THE AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT OF YAMOUSSOUKRO TO THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY FOR YOUNG MUSLIMS

Doctor Augustin THIAM, Minister, Governor of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro (DAY) offered food to the Muslim Community this Wednesday, February 26, 2025 with the aim of wishing them a pleasant month of Ramadan. During this presentation, Mrs. Mariam BAMBA, 1st Vice-Governor, Mr. Eugène KOUAME, 3rd Vice-Governor, as well as other members of the District were present.
 To begin the food delivery ceremony, the spokesperson for the Minister, Governor, Mr. Ladji Sidibé presented to the Muslim Community, greetings and donations from the Minister Governor who was accompanied by a large delegation.
Then, during his intervention, Mr. KOUADIO Raphael, Acting Director of the Cabinet stated that there are a total of 16.50 Tons of Rice, 7.00 Tons of Sugar, 40 Cartons of Milk and 20 Cartons of Tea. 

The beneficiaries of these provisions are the Imam of the Great Mosque Mr. Seydou Sylla and his collaborators, the Dougoutigui with the communities, the Saguidiba Mosque in the Bahi district with all the other Mosques and the Bédié grin as well as all the other grins. 
After these donations, the entire Muslim Community thanked the Minister for his support and his gesture towards them. Also, Mr. Seydou Sylla, Imam of the Grand Mosque of Yamoussoukro made blessings for the Minister, Governor and his entire delegation. 
Speaking, the Minister, Governor Doctor Augustin THIAM affirmed that we should not wait to have a lot before giving because the little we have is enough to share. So, he will always be there to give them his support. He concluded by asking them to pray throughout the month of Ramadan so that there is peace, union, cohesion and solidarity in Ivory Coast.
