DOCTOR AUGUSTIN THIAM STRENGTENS SECURITY IN THE AUTONOMOUS DISTRICT OF YAMOUSSOUKRO

“My concern is the well-being of the population and it passes through the Agents before us today” said Doctor Augustin THIAM, Minister, Governor of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, on the occasion of the outing official of the 3rd promotion of the Police of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, on Tuesday November 26, 2024, at the Republican Guard of Yamoussoukro. There are a total of 14 trainees Police officers, including 05 girls who took the oath to serve the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, for the security of the population. The Minister, Governor, Doctor Augustin THIAM, in his speech expressed his thanks to all the guests present at the ceremony, notably the Regional Prefect, Prefect of the Department of Yamoussoukro; Madam Acting Prefect of the Department of Attiegouakro, Madam Prefect of Police of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro; Mr. Mayor of the Municipality of Yamoussoukro, Mr. Mayor of the Municipality of Attiegouakro, Madam Regional Director of Youth Promotion, Professional Integration and Civic Service, Village Chiefs and Religious Guides.''It's about serving and not being used''. Serving must be reflected in your actions. Each of the actions taken now commits the District to the populations. Don't make it a habit to speak informally to your interlocutors. Be polite and respectful, while doing your job properly. These are some tips that Doctor Augustin THIAM did not fail to instill in the young police trainees. To date, there are forty (40) police officers trained, on behalf of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro, by the Republican Guard. 
The 1st promotion was named “DIA HOUPHOUËT-BOIGNY”, the 2nd promotion called “JEAN KONAN BANNY” and the current 3rd promotion is called “SERVIR”. Exit of a 45-day training with Lieutenant Soumahoro Ali, from the 52nd promotion of Zambakro, the 3rd promotion of District Police officers baptized "SERVIR" by Doctor Augustin Thiam, has had a remarkable score during the training. Indeed, Mr. KOUADIO Kouamé Yannick, major of his promotion, was decorated by the Minister, Governor, and received an envelope of 100,000 FCFA as well as the 2nd major, Miss BROU Akissi Viviane .The ceremony ended with the succession of parades of the Soldiers of the Republican Guard of Yamoussoukro, and the different promotions of the Police Officers of the Autonomous District of Yamoussoukro.
